DESCRIPTION:Part of a series of training days aimed at two groups of people
 :\n1/ newcomers to bush orienteering\n2/ those wanting to step up from Mod
 erate to Hard bush courses\n\nThere will be a structured series of coachin
 g and training activities to develop skills and confidence for bush orient
 eering. Each training day proceeds a club event so you'll be able to put y
 our improved skills to test.\n\nNote there is no cost for these events but

 .\nSession 2\nSession 2 is based in the magnificent Chiltern-Mt Pilot Nati
 onal Park\, a world-class area for orienteering. Meet at the Honeyeater Pi
 cnic Area off Cyanide Road.\n\nSkills coaching will build on the basics le
 arnt in Session 1 - map orientation\, location tracking and identifying co
 mmon features.  There will also be an introduction to mining features and
  contours.  More advanced coaching focusing on contours is available for 
 those looking to move up to Hard courses.
